Who is Evan Maly?
Evan Maly is a devoted musician, composer, and recent graduate from the College of William and Mary. Evan took his first composition class in his junior year and discovered a love and passion for writing and enjoying music.
During his stay at the College, he has written pieces for his peers' recitals, professional ensembles like the Ardelia Trio and Imani Winds, and full orchestra. He composed an hour-long orchestral suite for Honors and was awarded Highest Honors by the Music Department at William and Mary. The William and Mary Symphony Orchestra premiered four movements from the suite with Evan at the timpani.
Since graduating, he has continued to compose and orchestrate pieces for various ensembles and branched out into writing for video games and film. He is pursuing further education in composition in graduate school.

This résumé chronicles my history of studying music, including classes I've taken and pieces I've composed. I also included a list of the pieces I've performed with the William and Mary Symphony Orchestra.
I will update the résumé as I finish more music and play more pieces as a timpanist.
